Translink’s Nightlink service is one of Belfast’s most popular destinations - offering city centre party goers a late night bus service home on Fridays and Saturdays. The service operates 8 routes from Donegall Square West at 1am and 2am each Friday and Saturday night to Newtownabbey, Carrickfergus, Bangor, Newtownards, Comber/Ballygowan, Ballynahinch, Lisburn and Antrim.
Nightlink has captured the imagination of passengers along all it’s routes, with usage increasing by 55% in the past two years alone. Ciaran Rogan, Translink Head of Marketing, explained “Nightlink is a reliable, regular service which operates to a number of key destinations each weekend. Passengers increasingly recognise that Nightlink provides a safe and dependable lift home on a Friday and Saturday night. And at only £3, it’s certainly more affordable than getting a taxi.”
All Nightlink services operate a No Smoking and Non Alcohol policy, and CCTV cameras are in operation on all buses.
