Passengers travelling through Belfast’s Central Station can now look forward to an enhanced level of customer service thanks to Translink’s newly appointed Customer Service Representatives. The Customer Service Representatives, contracted through Group 4, will be stationed at entrance and exit points throughout the station, to help customers with any queries they may have.
Customer Service Representatives are on duty in the station 24 hours a day. As well as being responsible for station security, CSR’s have received extensive training in customer care and will assist passengers - offering directions, help with train times and advice on station facilities, onward transportation and local amenities.
Hilton Parr, Translink Central Station Manager, explained “The appointment of Customer Service Representatives aims to complement the £4.2m refurbishment of Central Station. Just as the completed Central Station will offer passengers a vibrant and modern gateway to Belfast and beyond, so the Customer Service Representatives will be on hand to answer passengers’ questions and offer guidance and advice on a wide range of topics.”
