Translink To Hold Public Meetings In Derry re Upcoming Service Changes
23 June 2006
Translink is offering the public two opportunities to meet its key managers face to face at public meetings in Derry City to discuss ongoing developments and planned changes to Ulsterbus services in the Derry City and Londonderry County areas as part of the wider Ulsterbus Strategic Review.
Taking place on 3rd July in the City Hotel at 7.30pm and 6th July in the Broomhill Hotel 7.30pm, the meetings are open to anyone with an interest in the local bus network. The events present a unique opportunity to hear about the planned bus service enhancements in the area as well as to put questions to those responsible for delivering this important public service.
Translink’s District Manager, Alan Young said, “The Public Meetings will provide a welcome, open interface for the discussion of issues which are important to the local community in terms of their bus services. With a raft of service enhancements in the pipeline, this is an exciting time for bus users in the area and we would encourage as many people as possible to come along to either event to hear more about our plans.”
