Northern Ireland l Cross Border l Student Weekly Tickets (Local) l North West Zone Weekly Rail Special l Cross Border Season Tickets
On production of a Translink Student Discount Card students can save up to 33% on NI Railways adult single fares throughout Northern Ireland.
Single Journeys: valid on day of issue only.
Day Return Journeys: Student single x 2, valid for return travel, same day only.
Cross Border
Student single and return tickets valid for up to one month can be purchased for Enterprise Class travel on Cross-Border services.
Single Journeys: 50% of the appropriate single fare, rounded down to the nearest 5p.
Return Journeys: Student single x 2.
Student Rail Weekly Tickets (Local)
Student Weekly Tickets are again available from the start of the University/College terms, offering unlimited travel on all N I Railways services.
Weekly tickets offer seven consecutive days travel between any two named stations (valid Mon - Sun).
North West Zone Weekly Rail Special £12.50
A special student rail ticket £12.50 offers unlimited travel within the North West zone.
Londonderry ~ Castlerock ~ Coleraine ~ Portrush ~ Ballymoney
These tickets are available from any NI Railways main station.
Cross Border Season Tickets
Student Weekly and Monthly tickets are available for travel between Belfast/ Portadown/Newry and Dundalk/Drogheda/Dublin. These are only available to purchase from Belfast Central, Portadown and Newry Stations.
