Translink Student Discount Card

If you are a student in full-time education you can enjoy up to 13 months of discounted travel with your Translink Student Discount Card. 

Your money goes further with a Translink Student Discount Card making Translink travel better for you.  Students can obtain great savings when travelling on bus or rail services throughout Northern Ireland. Reductions are also available on cross border services. 

The Translink Student Discount Card is valid from 1st September 2008 to 30th September 2009 and only costs £7.

Getting a new card

STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF FULL TIME STUDENT STATUS

Please note, when a Translink Student Discount Card (TSDC) application form is presented at a bus or rail station, staff will need to verify Full Time status by checking the College Photo ID or Letter from the University/College presented with the completed application form. 

If Full Time status is NOT detailed on the College Photo ID or Letter, applicants will be asked to return their TSDC application form to their University/College and have the form stamped in the box entitled “Declaration by Secondary Level School”. 

Applications for Translink Student Discount Cards can be made at any bus or rail station and are NOT required to be made in person by the student applicant i.e.  applications can be made on behalf of a student providing all the appropriate documentation is presented at the time of application.  
  
If posting your application form please enclose a cheque or postal order for £7.00 or credit/debit card details. Cash will not be accepted for postal applications.
Your Translink Student Discount Card will be returned to you within 7 working days (postal applications within 10 working days). All documentation will be returned with your completed Translink Student Discount Card.

If a card is lost or stolen please contact the Translink Pass Office on 028 9035 4074.

Please note that refunds will only be given in exceptional circumstances, and at the discretion of Translink.
