What is WhizzGo? l How does WhizzGo work?
WhizzGo is a pay-by-the-hour car club with a national network of low emission cars across the UK. WhizzGo cars can be used by the hour and picked up from a number of dedicated parking bays dotted conveniently around Belfast.
FLEXIBILITY
WhizzGo encourages its members to use sustainable modes of transport such as public transport and cycling whenever possible. However, sometimes you may need to make a journey by car. Now it is possible for you to travel into Belfast using train or bus, but have a car available in Belfast when you need it.
LOW COST
Our all-inclusive hourly rates (see below) can save you thousands of pounds compared to owning your own car.
ECO-FRIENDLY
Our research shows that our members reduce the number of miles they drive by 50% on average. And all WhizzGo cars have low emissions, so by switching to WhizzGo you will be reducing your carbon footprint.
CUTTING CONGESTION
Every WhizzGo car on the road means up to 20 private cars off the road, which will reduce traffic and parking congestion in Belfast.
HOW DOES WHIZZGO WORK?
Step 1 - Join up!
To get started all you need to do is join up online or over the phone. Once you're a member you'll receive your personal smart card and PIN.
Step 2 - Book your car
You can then book a car either online or through our telephone booking service with as little as 30 seconds' notice. WhizzGo cars are available for booking 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can book for as short as one hour or as long as you like.
Step 3 - Enjoy!
At the time of your booking make your way to your chosen WhizzGo car and hold your smart card over the windscreen reader to unlock. Hop in, get comfy, type in your PIN to release the keys and enjoy the car for as little as an hour or as long as you want.
