Regular commuters are set to benefit from a new Translink Park and Ride facility at Loughview car park on the Loughview Road, Lurgan.
Randal Roderick, Translink's District Manager in Craigavon explained, "Translink are encouraging commuters to give the new service a try and experience the convenience of a Park and Ride service by offering a free return ticket from Loughview to Belfast".
Randal continued, "The Park and Ride services use the new bus lanes on the M1 motorway and Europa bus-way allowing passengers to relax and enjoy a stress free journey to work. The system has proved to be very successful in other parts of the province and we are confident that Loughview will be no exception".
He added, "In addition, we are offer value for money tickets for those cost conscious commuters. An adult 10 journey ticket is available on board from the driver and offers 10 single journeys in either direction, valid for one month at £23. Alternatively, a 40 journey ticket, valid for 20 return journeys from Loughview to Belfast costs £76.50. These tickets can only be purchased from any main ticket office".
